Our Process for Your Successful Project

Our clients have the advantage of our knowledge and experience of many years in the selection, design, fabrication, and installation of stone. We ensure the details are addressed for our clients by myself or my staff, making the entire project go smoothly start to finish.

We look forward to helping you create your dream.  Our process is defined below.  Please contact us if you wish to add the beauty of stone to your home and want to learn more.

THE ESTIMATE

If you are working with a contractor, please let your sales designer know. To ensure an accurate estimate, we will need

  • Project plans or rough counter sketch indicating sink, appliances, walls, with dimensions
  • Material selection
  • Edge selection
  • Finish selection (if applicable) Polished, Honed or Leathered

Once we have this, you will receive a written estimate for your review. Please note this is only an estimate and may change based on final measurements taken during templating. Unless noted as a separate line item, the estimate will not include the removal and disposal of your current countertop. We do offer sinks and faucets, please let your sales designer know if you would like to purchase either from us.

PRIOR TO TEMPLATING

All estimates must be approved and returned with a 70% deposit prior to templating. Once deposit is made, you will be contacted to discuss the earliest possible templating date.

DAY OF TEMPLATING

  • All cabinets must be attached and in a permanent position, leveled and secured
  • All sinks, fixtures, and appliances must be on site before templating

FABRICATION AND SCHEDULING OF INSTALLATION

With templating completed, your project will be added to the fabrication schedule. We will contact you to confirm the earliest date possible for installation.

INSTALLATION DAY

  • Natural and engineered stone is heavy, so please have a clear path to the installation area
  • If we have quoted you for removal and disposal, the water must be shut off below the sink and the plumbing disconnected prior to the installation date
  • We do not disconnect or reconnect plumbing as we are not licensed plumbers. Arrangements should be made in advance to have the proper tradesperson handle both
  • On occasion, we may have to cut the material on site creating dust. We work very hard to minimize However, homeowners should be aware there will be dust
  • Final payment is due the day of installation
